Table is made up of rows and columns that intersect to each other to form cells. The lines that mark the cell boundaries are called grid lines. Inserting new rows in a table is adding new rows directly above or below the selected row while inserting new columns in a table is adding new columns directly left or right hand side of the selected column. The following steps are use to add new rows and columns:

  • Start Microsoft word
